Subject: /etc/vnstat.conf: Unclear what 'system default value' for Locale is Package: vnstat Version: 1.10-1 File: /etc/vnstat.conf Severity: minor
The default setting for Locale is "-" which, according to vnstat.conf(5), means the 'system default value' is used. But on my system, which is en_GB.utf8 by default, the default date string (%x) gives me American style dates (12/08/10) rather than British (08/12/10). -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (430, 'testing'), (420, 'unstable'), (410, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages vnstat depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib vnstat recommends no packages.
