Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to purge.

24m35.5s INFO: Warning: Package purging left files on system:
  /var/lib/python not owned
  /var/lib/python/python2.6_already_installed not owned

<jcristau> /var/lib/dpkg/info/python.preinst: echo "$version"
> /var/lib/python/python2.6_already_installed
<jcristau> h01ger: ^
<h01ger> so something python should remove on remove
* h01ger wonders why he has never noticed this on piatti
<jcristau> looks like a typo
<jcristau> it does rm -f /var/lib/python/python2.5_already_installed twice
<jcristau> instead of once for 2.5 and once for 2.6
<jcristau> in python.postinst
<h01ger> ah

I'd appreciate if this could get fixed in squeeze too, even in r1/6.0.1 - then
I'd only have to workaround it for some short time :)

cheers,
        Holger
