The manpage states that 'pqiv -q' acts mostly like qiv.  But then
debian/patches/03_binary_name.diff attempts to go and make it write to
files such as .pqiv-select (instead of .qiv-select) and run pqiv-command
instead of qiv-command.

I think the most sensible thing to do is just remove those section of the
diff file because it makes pqiv behave contrary to the manpage (and has so
many bugs in it).  The bug incidentally seems to be because the
-DBINARY_NAME isn't being obeyed for some reason, but nevertheless, it
wouldn't have worked anyway, because it's trying to increment the 12th
character of the string, regardless of how long BINARY_NAME is.
