Dear maintainers, any update on this?
I'm now running rpcbind 1.2.5-0.3+deb10u1 in Debian 10, and it behaves just the
same:
> # ps -ef | grep rpcbind | grep -v grep
> _rpc 18484 1 0 00:16 ?00:00:00 /sbin/rpcbind -w -h 127.0.0.1
> -h ::1 -l
> # lsof -i -a -p 18484
> COMMAND PI

Hi.
For some use cases it is fully enough if rpcbind binds to loopback.
It would be nice if this is configurable, e.g. via debconf and
a /etc/default/rpcbind file, as it was/is with portmap.
