Hi, I have just uploaded new versions of libxml-stream-perl and libnet-xmpp-perl that contain Florian Schlichting's fixes for #626897 and #687059.
I consider the described bugs to be quite annoying to users. They should be fixed for the wheezy release. I have uploaded to DELAYED/5: If someone who feels responsible for the packages should object to the upload, feel free to cancel it.
