Bug description:

kdesudo stops working (does not launch the password dialog) in
the current KDE login session, but it used to work in a previous
login session.

This bug is observed in a fresh install of Debian squeeze
(with KDE desktop selected) from debian-6.0.1a-amd64-1386-netinst.iso

Reproduction:

-- restart/reboot the system.
-- login to KDE desktop session.
-- open anything requiring root permission (eg. synaptic or kuser).
-- kdesudo will open dialog for root password.
-- do not select the "remember password" checkbox.
-- enter root password to start the application, then quit the application.
-- logout.
-- login again to KDE desktop session (same user as above).
-- open anything requiring root permission (eg. synaptic or kuser).
-- kdesudo will no longer work for this user.
-- restart/reboot the system to reproduce the above.

Additional info:

Restarting the xserver using the menu on the login screen does not help.
The only fix I found was to restart/reboot.

The bug is user-account specific. That is, kdesudo can be working for
one user but be broken for another (until restart/reboot).

Work around:

Always select the "remember password" checkbox. Then kdesudo will still
work for you after logout/login.
