The radeon has no connectors specified in the vbios so it's muxless.
Not much we can do with it until X gets re-architected to decouple
display and rendering.

How do I know if my GPU display is MUXes or MUX-less? I've tried to
select the discrete card using vgaswitcheroo but i get a black screen
and the computer crashes.

Unfortunately not. It's one of those typical laptop BIOSes where its a
small miracle if it lets you set the clock and the boot device sequence.
