After upgrading my locally-built kernel from version 3.0.0-1.0 to 3.0.0-3.0 without changes to the kernel configuration I get the following message directly after "Loading Linux": EBDA is big; kernel setup stack overlaps LILO Changing back to version 3.0.0-1.0 removes this problem. Adding large_memory (or small_memory) to lilo.conf does not.
