Just FYI. *.cmake files have been moved to paraview-dev, if you take
the latest from git.
What is left to do is:

No reasons for this bug to be a serious [1] and not to let
testing-users to get 3.10-version soon.
Please, discuss on the list before changing the severity.

That sounds like a very bad decision. Header files should be provided by the
-dev package.
This allows a
Bug #640195 [paraview] paraview-dev transition
Severity set to 'serious' from 'important'
I am not agree with that. Why is that bug serious?
It does not break anything. I would keep it normal.

Hi Mathieu,
thanks for fixing that bug! But I have a couple of notice:
You have commented those 2 lines:
#CFLAGS := -Wall -lXt $(shell dpkg-buildflags --get CFLAGS)

I would keep them, as was suggested by Bernhard R. Link [1]
retitle 640195 paraview-dev transition

Ok let's use this bug number to track the transition for the paraview
package. the first vtkedge bug report when building vtkedge paraview

Package: paraview
Version: 3.10.1-4
Severity: important
Since the move to paraview 3.10, the cmake import file:
/usr/lib/paraview/ParaViewConfig.cmake
has now disapeared. This makes it impossible for 3rd party software to compile
paraview module.
Thanks for preserving the previous behavior !
Hi Mathieu,
the file is in paraview-package itself as
/usr/lib/paraview/ParaViewConfig.cmake [1]
