Hello,

Mac OSX 10.6 clients cannot move or delete some files shared out by Netatalk.
Syslog shows the following error:

... afpd[30625]: ea_open('.AppleDouble/22-01B-for discussion.doc::EA'): bogus
EA header file
... afpd[30625]: ea_deletefile('22-01B-for discussion.doc'): error calling
ea_open

This problem has also been reported on the netatalk-admins list at
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=EC8BD16E-FBA7-4C28-A4ED-037623413CB5%40otenet.gr&forum_name=netatalk-admins

A patch was posted by Nikos Chatzimpontozis at that same thread which is
reported to fix the error (in libatalk/vfs/ea.c).

This patch has been committed to trunk by Frank Lahm but 2.2.1 was already out.

Could this patch be applied to the Squeeze release?

Thanks,
Tim Miller Dyck
