Hi, any news about this bug? I'd like to introduce Poppler 0.18 in Debian too, and apvlv currently fails to compile with it. As Martin said, for apvlv 0.1.1 you need the upstream commit https://github.com/naihe2010/apvlv/commit/e5aec2fd102a0f041dc53f4aa8040ab89043e05d ... plus a "cleanup commit", https://github.com/naihe2010/apvlv/commit/37df25be09e5c11be9fa4f8501e1a5a793a36d3f or, you can just update apvlv to 0.1.4, which has been released 10 days ago or so.
