I had similar problems using dual monitors.
Secondary monitor work for few minutes at most and turned off reporting
wrong dvi or unplugged. using GeForce 8600 GT.
Quite often getting the BIOS to complain while booting up about broken
graphic card hardware.
Worked well on wheezy so followed Oz
