Package: gnome-shell

I'm having the same problem, but not with libglib-2.0 as far as I can tell -
it's with libgnome-menu-3.0
This is what kern.log spits out,
gnome-shell[4635]: segfault at 120 ip 7f6cc50ec340 sp 7fff0b6e08a0
error 4 in libgnome
Hey,
this is an old bug report.
Could you please still reproduce this issue with newer version like
3.4.2-7+deb7u1 or 3.8.4-5+b1 ?
thanks

Hi.
I experience the same issue on my system. It seems that this happens only when
using fglrx driver, not with radeon driver, however.
I've got a backtrace of gnome-shell, I don't know if this is correct and if
this can help...

In my system there is a similar issue.
All is the same, but the segfault happens in libc

Severity: important
Randomly, when manipulating/switching windows, gnome-shell crashes. Then, it
restarts by itself and all the elements are at the right position
(windows,...). I typed dmesg right after a crash, and the last message is:
