I had a working configuration. The other day I discovered that none of
my MRTG
graphs had updated since last year, specifically on September 14, 2011. I am
running in daemon mode. I have reduced the number of device-specific files
included in my main configuration to try and troubleshoot. I rebuilt those
remaining config files with cfgmaker to make sure they were not out of date.
I checked my dpkg logs, and on September 14th, I used aptitude to upgrade
packages, one of them was mrtg. The upgrade to kernel 3.2 was much more
recent.
Debugs with base, tarp, cfg, and fork only show information when the daemon
starts, nothing afterwards. Debugging with snpo shows nothing at all.
