Package: emacs-jabber Version: 0.8.0-2 Severity: normal File: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacs-jabber/jabber-autoloads.el
Running xemacs21 -q prints an error Loading 50emacs-jabber... Loading jabber-autoloads... Error while loading 50emacs-jabber: Symbol's function definition is void: custom-autoload This is unslightly, though apparently harmless. I see emacs-jabber is not for use on xemacs21, but it'd be good if 50emacs-jabber.el was clean to xemacs startup. One way to do it could be to look for the byte-compiled flavour directory (concat "/usr/share/" (symbol-name debian-emacs-flavor) "/site-lisp/emacs-jabber") in the removed-but-not-purged test, thus skipping the setups for unsupported flavours as well as when --remove. (The underlying problem of course is that generated autoloads like jabber-autoloads.el are sometimes emacs flavour dependent. So what emacs23 generates xemacs21 often can't use, etc.) -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages emacs-jabber depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.8.8 ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a+1-5.7 ii emacs22-gtk [emacsen] 22.3+1-1.2 ii emacs23 [emacsen] 23.3+1-1 ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-8 ii xemacs21-basesupport 2009.02.17.dfsg.1-1 ii xemacs21-mule [emacsen] 21.4.22-3.2 Versions of packages emacs-jabber recommends: pn gnutls-bin | starttls <none> pn xprintidle <none> emacs-jabber suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
