You may already know that, but it seems to be aptitude-defaults.zh_CN
that directly causes the problem.
So a simple workaround of this bug would be to remove all entries in
that file.

more details as this might help to triage this bug. The bug is related to
parsing/handling of aptitude-defaults and manifests itself when
aptitude-defaults.{zh*,..} are used.
