Package: cifs-utils Version: 2:5.4-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, During last cifs-utils, smbfs package has been removed. Starting from this point all windows share mount (which worked previously) delcared in my fstab stopped working After trying to run the mount.cifs as root directly or as root using sudo, I finally discovered that mount.cifs behave as if it simply ignore any input and stops. For example /sbin/mount.cifs //toto /tutu (neither the server toto nor the folder /tutu exist) return immediately wihout error notice. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-686-pae (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages cifs-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.13-32 ii libcap2 1:2.22-1.1 ii libkeyutils1 1.5.5-2 ii libkrb5-3 1.10.1+dfsg-1 ii libtalloc2 2.0.7+git20120207-1 ii libwbclient0 2:3.6.5-2 ii samba-common 2:3.6.5-2 Versions of packages cifs-utils recommends: ii keyutils 1.5.5-2 ii winbind 2:3.6.5-2 Versions of packages cifs-utils suggests: ii smbclient 2:3.6.5-2 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
