No, an update to my system is not an option. I did the work now to consolidate your work with buildability for lucid and was just about to upload ... I see you are DD and trusted you to test your stuff before throwing it over the fence. But, did you actually do that? I believe your patch does not have the desired effect for hardening the build flags.
