All applied, and GIR problems fixed. Note that your error was only because --gir was on and not a library compilation error. The GIR stuff is hyper mega experimental and pretty unlikely to actually be useful to anyone. Feel free to do so, but note Ganv is neither stable nor released, and the GIR bindings even more so.
