Heh...I can't believe I haven't noticed this until now. This is reproducible on my own system (I have a nvidia card), so I doubt this is a hardware/driver-specific bug. The most frustrating thing is that I can't reproduce this with the static supertuxkart binary distributed by upstream, which leads me to believe that this is a bug that's Debian-specific.
