I have a new machine with a Debian amd64 installed only 2 month ago and
here libreoffice doesn't crash.
So I have purged (on the i386 machine) all libreoffice packages (apt-get
purge libreoffice-* ) and then reinstalled the purged packages. Now
libreoffice seems to works well also here. I
