I've found out that this issue was cause by qt-at-spi accessibility bridge. Updating it from version 0.3.1-1 to 0.3.1-2 fixes the issue. I don't understand how this affects so heavily only virtualbox since I'm running KDE so most of the applications I'm using is Qt based.
