Please find attached the patch fixing the issue.
It was just a copy&paste issue, I guess, because the atom parsing function
tried to get the feed title as for a rss.
So the patch is very simple. I've tested it with:

* http://zach.status.net/api/statusn

yarssr is not maintained by upstream any more, and I don’t use it
anymore myself. As you obviously care about the program: Is it possible
for you to try to hunt down and fix the bug yourself? I’ll be happy to
apply a patch of yours.

I faced application freeze after adding the new feed:
