Package: partman Severity: wishlist Quick ticket before I forget this again.
When I do an install with LVM LVs created by partman, and I say "4GB" and partman reports them as 4GB, once the install is finished lvs will list them as 3.78g or something, so I lvextend them. This is a bit icky, and it means that all my LVs start their lives with non-adjacent extents at the end. I did try "4GiB" and suchlike, but partman couldn't parse that. I didn't try specifying the size in bytes, that might have worked. Apologies for the lack of Version: - I don't remember what versions of d-i I found this against.
