Hi all,
The bug still seems to persist in gnome-settings-daemon package even
after upgradation. Adequate still talks about it :-
$ apt-show-versions -a gnome-settings-daemon
gnome-settings-daemon 3.8.2-1 install ok installed
gnome-settings-daemon 3.4.2+git20121218.7c1322-3 stable ftp.debian.org
gnome-settings-daemon 3.4.2+git20121218.7c1322-3 jessie ftp.debian.org
gnome-settings-daemon 3.4.2+git20121218.7c1322-3 unstable ftp.debian.org
gnome-settings-daemon 3.8.2-1 experimental ftp.debian.org
gnome-settings-daemon/experimental uptodate 3.8.2-1
As can be seen the package has been upgraded to 3.8.2-1
$ adequate gnome-settings-daemon
gnome-settings-daemon: obsolete-conffile
/etc/dbus-1/system.d/org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.DateTimeMechanism.conf
For some reason it is still finding the conffile to be obsolete.
