Michael Meskes' patch from January applied happily, but I'm finding that
dyn is responding nonsensically at present to the request ddclient sends
them.
A request like this (what ddclient sends) gets the response 'nochg [your
ipv4 address]'. I suspect they're discarding the ipv6 value as

Would be good to get something like this merged, too late for Jessie I
know. Also if might not be such a great idea as I assign my ppp ipv6
address to a different interface (so perhaps it could fall back to using
any Scope:Global

A patch for 3.8.1 to support IPv6 on the two services I know that can handle
it. Both dyndns and freedns automatically recognize the type of address being
passed to them and use it to update the A or the record.
