Hi,
I cannot reproduce the issue you reported. Further on the title it says,
easychem crashes. But in the mail body it says, the applications hangs.
If it crashes, please re-compile without stripping the debugging symbols
and provide us a backtrace. Is there any more information you can
provide us

On clicking on File → Export, opens a dialog that has different
formats to save. After format selection, the file browser window
appeared. On clicking OK, the application hangs.
