Package: xfce4-mixer
Followup-For: Bug #711460
Dear Maintainer,
I use XFCE in Spanish, the "Maestro" is probably "Master" in English.
Clicking mute on the "Maestro" the "Maestro" and the "Speaker" go mute.
(The Headphone doesn't). So far so good but if I remove the mute from the

Hello, This bug is still alive on the version 4.10.0-3 on Debian jessie.
It exists since January 2013. The real problem is the only way I know to
recover the sound is to launch another window manager, as Mate, and
unmute tre sound. Not very practical...
Is it planned to do something on it ?

I also had this problem on a freshly installed Debian Testing, I had to
run the following commands as a workaround (I got them from the ArchWiki):
xfconf-query -c xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts -p
/commands/custom/XF86AudioRaiseVolume -n -t string -s "amixer set Master
5%+ unmute"
xfconf-query -c xf
I see the same behaviour:
With headphones plugged in:
1/ In xfce4's panel plugin mixer: right-click -> select 'mute'
-> xfce4-mixer shows Master & Headphone muted. (IIRC, with headphones not
plugged in, Speaker & PCM are muted instead of Headphone.)
-> unmuting through xfce4's panel
