Package: libncurses5
Version: 5.9-10
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

There still exist commercial software packages that rely on the
existance of libtermcap.so.2. Debian used to (that is, back in 2005),
have a package termcap-compat that added a symlink from libncurses to
libtermcap, but that package is long gone now. libncurses5 still
maintains the termcap ABI, so a symlink shouldn't be out of the
question.
