I have problems with the nvidia-drivers, too (os and cs) and stumbled
about this bug. Looking at the upstream bug report, I think this can
be closed, because it seems to be fixed in libdrm 2.4.48 and later.

I have tested with a 3.11 kernel (3.11-trunk-686-pae, 3.11-1~exp1
(2013-09-12)) and the problem persists. I am going upstream, thank you once
