In attempt to improve performance, upstream broke sorting. The attempt to improve performance is upstream bug #58800. The broken sorting is upstream bug #58437. The bug affects libstdc++ 4.7.3 and libstdc++ 4.8.2. libstdc++ 4.8.1 is not affected. According to upstream, it will be fixed in libstdc++ 4.7.4, 4.8.3 and 4.9.0.
