When I mirror a repository with both the i18n and debmarshall flags I get the
following error:
linking /mnt/repo/debmarshal/ubuntu/dists/precise-backports/0/main/i18n/Index
Error while linking .temp/dists/precise-backports/main/i18n/Index: No such file
or directory
If I create the directory
/mnt/repo/debmarshal/ubuntu/dists/precise-backports/0/main/i18n
it will work.
The exact command line is:
/usr/bin/debmirror -v --progress --method=http -h us.archive.ubuntu.com
--root=/ubuntu
--section=main,multiverse,restricted,universe,main/debian-installer,restricted/debian-installer
--di-arch=amd64 --di-dist=precise,precise-updates --arch=i386,amd64
--nocleanup --source --i18n --debmarshal
--dist=precise,precise-backports,precise-security,precise-updates
--rsync-extra=doc,tools /mnt/repo/debmarshal/ubuntu
The error seems to be in the link_index_into_snapshot function. It needs to create
""$mirrordir/dists/$dist/$next/$distpath" before creating the link.
