It's currently not possible to reinstall (or, when a new release comes
along, upgrade to a newer version) because postinst is doing, as Eric
pointed out, (essentially) an a2enmod mpm_itk--and this call fails if
mpm_itk is already enabled.
The problem belongs to apache2, however:
