Thanks for reporting this issue. Unfortunately it looks like upstream
doesn't using an issue tracking where this could be forwarded to.
The best way forward seems to patch these issues ourselves and file it
upstream as
Package: osmctools
Version: 0.1-2
There quite a lot of warnings when building osmctools they should
really be fixed:
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../include -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -g -O2
-fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -Wformat
-Werror=format-security -c -o osmconvert.o osmconvert.c
