I can confirm this for jessie and package version 10.0+ds1-1. This is rather annoying, because at the moment the FreeBSD 9 kernel is removed on upgrade and you have no running network afterwards making reinstall older packages over network impossible. I run the 32 bit version in VMware player on Debian Linux.
