affects + mariadb-10.0 Also MariaDB needs a systemd file, which I assume would be identical with the one for MySQL. Actually there are multiple attempts at this, one in every distro. See issue https://mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-427 and comment number 2 by me, which lists the systemd files in different distros.
