Package: python-kerberos Version: 1.1+svn4895-1+b2 Severity: wishlist I'm the Fedora maintainer of python-kerberos.
I've submitted a patch upstream to add an API for gss_inquire_cred(), https://trac.calendarserver.org/ticket/830 , but haven't gotten any response at all in weeks. I want to include this patch into Fedora but don't want to create an incompatibility with other distros. Can you consider including this patch as well? This patch adds new API so you can determine the current principal without making a server connection or having to make direct Kerberos calls (using python-krbV for example). -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python-kerberos depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u1 ii libcomerr2 1.42.5-1.1 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.10.1+dfsg-5+deb7u1 ii libk5crypto3 1.10.1+dfsg-5+deb7u1 ii libkrb5-3 1.10.1+dfsg-5+deb7u1 ii python 2.7.3-4+deb7u1 ii python-support 1.0.15 python-kerberos recommends no packages. python-kerberos suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
