Package: paco Version: 2.0.9-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
paco-2.0.9 ignores files with blanks in their file names. This is a problem e.g. when using paco to log copy installations (installations without compiling source code). Example in bash shell: mkdir cd echo "test" > "test/with blanks.txt" echo "test" > test/no_blanks.txt paco -lp blanks-test "cp -r test /root/" paco -f blanks-test The last command shows only the file "no_blanks.txt", i.e. the other file is missing. When I used paco with "cp -r" to install an extension to /usr/share/... and later uninstalled it with "paco -r", a few files weren't removed by paco because they had blanks in their names. Expected behaviour: paco should also log files with blanks in their names, so packages with such files can be property removed using "paco -r". -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages paco depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u1 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-5 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-5 ii perl 5.14.2-21+deb7u1 paco recommends no packages. paco suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
