Thanks for your report. It seems this issue was noticed in Gentoo and
fixed in upstream about a month ago, so it'll be fixed with the upload
for 2.9.7-1.

Hexchat segfaults immediately when attempting to receive a file via DCC. I can
reopen hexchat and the file transfer will resume and complete normally but then
when I attempt to get another file a few hours later it will segfault again.
