Package: elinks
Version: 0.12~pre5-9
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I called "elinks 'http://127.0.0.1/'"

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

There is no custom elinks setting nor any proxy setting.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

elinks displayed an error (popup) telling me that
"http://127.0.0.1.<Domain-Name>/"
could not be received - host not found.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I expected the same site to be displayed as when
calling "elinks http://localhost";.

Regards,
 M. Braun
