Package: reportbug Version: 6.6.3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
When I tried to send kudos to the zsh maintainers using "reportbug -k" , the process works fine until the last dialog where it says, Connecting to packages.debian.org via SMTP... At this point, the blue bar just moves left and right and ultimately times out. I confirm that the problem is not with the SMTP, since just minutes ago, I was able to report a bug ( https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=775771 ) Here are the uncommented lines in my ~/.reportbugrc % stuff.pl ~/.reportbugrc reportbug_version "6.4.4" mode novice ui gtk2 email "kamar...@gmail.com" no-cc header "X-Debbugs-CC: kamar...@gmail.com" smtphost reportbug.debian.org -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: INTERFACE="gtk2" ** /home/rajulocal/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "6.4.4" mode novice ui gtk2 email "kamar...@gmail.com" no-cc header "X-Debbugs-CC: kamar...@gmail.com" smtphost reportbug.debian.org -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii apt 1.0.9.6 ii python 2.7.5-5 ii python-reportbug 6.6.3 pn python:any <none> reportbug recommends no packages.
