Package: gnupg2 Version: 2.0.26-4 Severity: normal Hello,
I tried to use gpg2 with a smart card. It works (which is great!), but the console noise of scdaemon is rather annoying: -------------------8<------------------ $ gpg2 --card-status scdaemon[27603]: reading public key failed: Missing item in object [ ... card data ... ] scdaemon[27603]: updating slot 0 status: 0x0000->0x0007 (0->1) $ scdaemon[27603]: scdaemon (GnuPG) 2.0.26 stopped $ ------------------->8------------------ Same thing with 'gpg2 --decrypt'. Additionally, when used with pinentry-curses, scdaemon sometimes partially overwrites its screen messages. It would be nice if scdaemon, by default, doesn't print those debugging messages. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.5 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages gnupg2 depends on: ii dpkg 1.17.6 ii gnupg-agent 2.0.26-4 ii libassuan0 2.1.0-1 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-4 ii libc6 2.19-13 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.26.0-1 ii libgcrypt20 1.6.2-3 ii libgpg-error0 1.17-3 ii libksba8 1.3.0-2 ii libreadline6 6.2-8 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages gnupg2 recommends: ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.31-1 Versions of packages gnupg2 suggests: pn gnupg-doc <none> pn parcimonie <none> pn xloadimage <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
