Package: backup-manager
Version: 0.7.10.1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I have an issue with old backups not deleted consistently when
BM_ARCHIVE_TTL is reached. I am using incremental backups
(BM_ARCHIVE_METHOD="tarball-incremental"). The bug arises
when BM_ARCHIVE_TTL is reached for a "master" backup. The backup
is deleted but backup-manager does not delete all the incremental
backups between it and the next master, even though they have become
useless without the master. That uses up useful space on the backup
device.

Expected behaviour: automated deletion of a "master" backup should
also delete all the "incremental" backups between it and the next
master.

Many thanks in advance,

mathieu
