Package: taopm Version: 1.0-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Taopm installs without problems, but when attempting to run any of the example scripts which it puts in /usr/share/doc, eg. by running "tao test" the output is as follows: Parsing "test.tao" Compiling "test.cc" to make "test.exe" Compilation failed for "test.cc" Based on my reading of the online user's manual at http://taopm.sourceforge.net/docs/online_userman/UserManual_1.html I believe this command is supposed to produce an executable which in turn produces the expected audio and graphical output when executed. AFAIK the Debian package does not include a manual or manpage. I note that the program is trying to compile a .exe file on a Debian system but I don't know if that is the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.3-2015-06-06-21.12 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages taopm depends on: ii freeglut3 2.8.1-2 ii freeglut3-dev 2.8.1-2 ii g++ [c++-compiler] 4:4.9.2-4 ii g++-4.8 [c++-compiler] 4.8.4-2 ii g++-4.9 [c++-compiler] 4.9.2-16 ii libaudiofile1 0.3.6-2+b1 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libgcc1 1:5.1.1-9 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 10.5.5-1 ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 9.0.0-2 ii libstdc++6 5.1.1-9 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.3-1 ii libxi6 2:1.7.4-1+b2 ii libxmu-dev 2:1.1.2-1 ii libxmu6 2:1.1.2-1 ii multiarch-support 2.19-18 taopm recommends no packages. taopm suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
