Upstream released 0.86 a while ago which supports color to make the historical ping view visually better. Also, from what I can tell, some bug reports reference upstream commits that have them fixed so the upload could close some of them right ahead. I did try a test build (dropping all the changes formerly done to the package), only added a call to ./bootstrap.sh in debian/rules and it built right through (on jessie). I'm currently running this test build locally, but it would be great to have the official package done (and I'd be willing to do the backporting to jessie then unless you want to do it yourself).
