I see your patch also contains diagnostic lines. If you want those included in the package, please rebase your patch on the current git master at http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-mysql/galera-3.git/ (github mirror for easy pull requests available at https://github.com/ottok/galera-3) and send it as a patch or a git pull request.
