Package: flight-of-the-amazon-queen Version: 1.0.0-8 Severity: wishlist FOTAQ - like the other free games BASS, Dracula & Lure of the Temptress - has been dubbed in various languages; but only the English version is shipped in Debian.
I thought of adding it as a definition to game-data-packager ( #783925 ) but I now realize this is a bad idea for various reasons: - the English version would be in main; but the other versions that are licensed the same way would require some tool in contrib. - even after installing the correct dubbed packages; "queen --de" or "queen --fr" wouldn't work - this whole setup would have poor usability and would require a lot of documentation I propose this: A small 'flight-of-the-amazon-queen' packages that only hold the .desktop file, launcher & man pages and that depends on "flight-of-the-amazon-queen-en | flight-of-the-amazon-queen-de | flight-of-the-amazon-queen-fr | flight-of-the-amazon-queen-he | flight-of-the-amazon-queen-it". Each of flight-of-the-amazon-queen-## would only hold a diffrente 'queen.1c' file. The launcher woudl then pick the best fitting language; in a way similar to /usr/games/drascula: http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-games/drascula.git/tree/debian/bin/drascula#n32 If you agree with these changes; I can provide a patch.
