That udev script made no difference. I still encountered
the same problem. Single user mode, vgchange -ay fixed it.

My previous message appears to have not been sent successfully.
I removed all the udev overrides, rebuilt the initramfs, and rebooted. Now
udev-delta does not show any overrides. However, the problem of dropping
