The issue is still present in sundials 2.6.2. In the recently released 2.7.0 upstream have temporarily removed sundialsTB "until the development team has some cycles to spend updating it. We are optimistic that this will happen in the coming year."
Upstream has already been notified of this, see: http://sundials.2283335.n4.nabble.com/SundialsTB-not-compiling-on-OSX-td4653061.html and http://sundials.2283335.n4.nabble.com/Re-SundialsTB-not-compiling-on-OSX-tp4653867.html. So this one should be on hold until they release a 2.7.x version with sundialsTB AND the patch included. Paolo
