I'm one of the libuv maintainers.
libuv maintains strict backwards API compatibility and ABI stability, so
Node LTS will get a libuv upgrade (hopefully) soon see [0].
We follow semver, so a LTS release should be ok using the latest
vMAJOR.X, v1.x in this case.
There are a couple of an
Package: libuv1
Version: 1.9.0-1
Severity: normal
We still need to clear up whether nodejs LTS are locked to spcific libuv1
minor versions or not.
For the moment, we block 1.9.0 here and wait for clarification before letting
it in testing.
